In Mourning
My Grandmother passed away this morning at about 7:30. We got to see her...she's so thin and pale. I saw my grandfather cry...which is something I never wanted to see. I hypterventilated, cried my eyes out and now I keep cry again with every new person that shows up at the house. My eyeballs hurt and my nose is raw and it's cold outside and everyone's standing in it. They don't want to stay inside the house - everything in it's hers.

It's  good day though - she's in a much better place.

Don't forget to be excited for your grandmom today! She's beginning a whole new life full of happiness and trials and challenges! What a great thing!

It's okay to be sad for yourself and your family, but don't forget to move on quickly lest you sully your grandmom's memory.

I was sad - but relieved. She deserved to move on. I'm happy for her.

Thank you. <3

Like Cherry said, it's okay to sad. Cry, cry a lot. But remember how much you and every one else loved her, and how much she loved you all in return. You will find yourself remembering things that make you laugh or smile. Don't feel bad about doing any of those things either. Share those moments with your family.
She is no longer in pain, and that my dear, is a good thing

Remember she loved you. The sad feeling passes, so don't give up. When time passes, you will remember her with a smile on your face. That's kinda how it went for me.
*hugs you*
like conjure_lass: It's a whole new beginning, not the end. Maybe you will meet her again someday.

Wishing you much of strenght to get through this tough period.
